I'm pretty sure you noticed the Warning Message when you clicked the link to view our blog.

Seems not everyone understands just what clicking on "I understand and wish to continue" means. When faced with language you are not comfortable with after accepting the terms you should not contact us to tell us you did not feel comfortable with the language we use.

Rumors can start on one's own profile, it can create the illusion of being someone important. Look at these guys...

No! Don't think I posted that quote twice by accident...those came from two different avatars in the same live music venue. One was a female and the other a male....their rez dates were just a day apart. Maybe someone should hire the following resident.

Important Safety Information you might want to look out for when perving profiles. SLaying is not for the weak. There may be some profiles that can cause seizures or blackouts triggered by words that absolutely make no sense, such as the ones that follow...

A great many profiles may cause you nausea after reading something like this...

"I am bacon soup.
I am delicious.
I am the shit.
No, you can't have any!"

Excessive yawning may become an unavoidable symptom that may take affect when you find a profile that uses a quote you have read on hundreds of other profiles, such as...

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away"

Immediately, close any profile that may shock you into submission with such harsh words like the ones of this quoted profile...

Why do people come to SL? To meet new people? To explore this crazy world? Personally I came for both. Does there come a point in SL you should stop wanting to meet new people? Once you have your own little click going on should we flip the finger to the rest of the virtual world turn our back and not want to meet anymore?

I dont think we should, for me the thing thats keeps SL fun is meeting the new people. Right from the serious, down right boring people, all the way up to the full on crazy annoying fucker you wanna shoot everytime you see.

All that said! Sometimes in SL, I do want to scream at people, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" For example when I'm in a club and get randomally IM'ed "Hey Sexy"...Ooh please FAIL! Or when I'm shopping and someone IM's me asking, "I love your clothes. Where you get them?" It's hard to be unique in SL so I sure as hell don't want every other person wearing the same as me or rocking the kicks that I love!

With this in mind when does a polite "I'm busy" turn into a down right nasty comment sure to stop anyone wanting to IM you? I'll show you...

YES! She actually typed this on her profile..."Now go FUCK Yourself....and if you have a problem with this U can eat the bloody fish market thats goin on in my pants..... Bye now"

I sure wouldnt want to friend this person after reading that profile for the one reason that....I dont want to be standing next to her and for people to think that smell was coming from me!

So here I stand with a peg on my nose thinking "Congratulations you just got yourself SLayed!"

Sometimes our thoughts and ideas seem to make a whole lot of sense. Then we say them out loud or write them down and realize it really did sound better in our head, and maybe should have kept it there.

Well, here is a SL profile that I can quote as an example for what I'm trying to say here.

"The trouble with personalities, they're too wrapped up in style
It's too personal, they're in love with their own guile
They're like illegal aliens trying to make a buck
They're driving gypsy cabs but they're thinking like a truck...

There was a time when there were not enough hours in a day to be on SL.

Sleep? There was no time for it. Our friends all gathered together and we had incredibly good, crazy and dramatic times. The laugh was real. The love was amazing. The time we shared together was magical. So many interactions with people from all over the world. People we won't ever forget, whether the memories are good or bad. Some of us have combined SL and RL by making life long friends.

Sometimes I open a profile and think "Wow that profile was just waiting to get SLayed".

Who am I to deprive such an outcry?

I found a profile that says, "Unless you are really hot, I don't want to know what your default world look is. No matter if I look like Brittney Spears or not"

I will admit I am a bit confused with this profile, I'm unsure if this is a guy that meant to say, "No matter if you look like Brittney Spears or not" or is it a girl that compares herself to Britney? None the less, the person is obviously half baked, and didn't provide a picture of him/herself of SL or RL to be judged.

I SLay the superficial that are fixated on whether someone is "really hot" in real life . Maybe this person wouldn't seem so unreasonably shallow, if he/she didn't pre-judge people solely on their looks.

If you stop a friendship based on your obsession with real life appearances, you have just been SLayed by The Sands!

Reflecting A Year Of SLaying

Reflecting on our first year as The SLayerbabes. On February 25 2010 we started this Blog, it was intended to share all the crazy gossip and rumors we heard around SL. A Lot of what we heard was funny or shocking. We deleted all our early Posts, even we can't be THAT mean [smirks].

On August 13, 2010 we changed the path of our blog by SLaying profiles. Too many profiles we read made us laugh or made us shake our heads. You might say, "These girls are amused too easy", and you would be right.

It's been a little over a year since we started SLaying profiles and as of today we have had 9013 views, it might not impress some of you, but for us, the SLayerbabes made this blog for our own amusement, and to have had so many people visit our blog and tell us how much they enjoy it. It is pretty awesome. Thanks again for your support.

Clearly, LL (Linden Labs) doesn't have time to babysit each and everyone of us. We are all supposed to be adults, since it is a requirement that you be 18 and over to be part of this virtual world. There are sims you can't even teleport to, unless you are "age verified".

With that pointed out...I'm left wondering why is it that many use their SL profiles to deliberately hurt others?

I spent pretty close to an hour reading one profile after another of a group of former friends. Each profile mentioned a user name or two of their "enemy" and that lead me from one profile to the next and so on.

This group is connected by a deeply-seeded hate for one another. They said horrid things about each other. Each profile bashed and mutilated the other person(s) with harmful words.They even supplied the reader with their enemy's RL age and posted their RL pictures.

[Gasps...What the Hell?]

This was not, by any means, your regular SL drama that some of us have come to experience. What this is, is Cyber Bullying at it's worst. Attacking a person's RL is harmful and should not be allowed in this or any social community.

Each of these members posted on their profile's words like, "REPORTED FOR HARASSMENT". Yet, their profiles were plastered with character bashing comments about their enemy. Wouldn't LL see what nasty things they wrote too? Giving them the same warning they would give the person that was reported?

What's funny is that on one of these profiles, it notes "...there are real people behind these avi's. " Well...Duh! Who doesn't know that?

As stated in the opening of this SLaying, LL does not have time to babysit you. You as an adult are expected to handle your petty differences. Say what you need to say, unfriend, mute and move on with your life. It's that simple.

Folks, these people are not spring chickens, they probably have RL kids and grandkids dealing with bullies on the daily. It's sad when a person gets to a point where they have to leave SL or any social network because of harassment, and from the looks of it, someone in the group mentioned above actually did decide it was best to leave.

I wonder who in their right mind would want to friend a person that can say such nasty things on their profile about someone that they once considered a friend. Would you friend someone that once was trusted enough with RL information, and is now using it to hurt others? Is that a friend you would want?

There is a positive side to all of this. If you come across a profile like the ones mentioned above, then you know to stay away from people like that. Dark hearts have been revealed when they mishandled precious RL information. I have a personal issue with Cyber Bullying because my RL information was used as leverage against me by someone I trusted on SL. So yeah! This SLaying may be bloody, deep and harsh.

I SLay this group and point out to them that there will never be any winners in cyber bullying. To be honest, I'm surprised their accounts haven't been canceled yet.

Recently I stopped by a RP (Roleplay) class that one of my best friends was teaching. One of the lessons he touched on was Profiles. By the way, my friend is The Best Emoter in all of SL. [smiles and sighs deeply]. Oh! Sorry, where was I? Ah! Yes! There is no one better suited to teach this class then my friend, Hammy.

My reason for mentioning the class? Well, profiles of course.

Hammy pointed out that some profiles might tell a long or short summary of the person's story. You can learn preferences or the sexual orientation favored. In RP sims profiles give a better view on the person you might find yourself wanting to interact with.

When RPing , it is a good idea to peek at the other player's profile to see such things as Limits, Age, the type of RP and Interests.

Hammy also pointed out that some of us are bad at NOT reading profiles. So true on any sim in SL. How many times has a partnered person in a committed relationship been offered unwanted sexual advances when it is stated in his/her profile, "In a Relationship, Not interested"?

It is true that some people forget to update their profile, and others like to challenge you to get to know them by communication and not by the words on their profile. But keep in mind that a little joke or comment on your profile can go a long way.

There are many reasons why one would look at your profile. In the RPing sims they count highly on your profile to learn certain things about you before you are approached. This is also true for the non-RPlayers. We want to know a little bit about you, then take it from there.

As The SLayer's have been telling you for about a year, update your profile and show us your individuality. Come on, give us something breath taking or funny to write about. Help out a SLayer don't have a dull profile.

Okay! I just have to get something off my chest......I'm not sure how many times I have to say this, but having an unoriginal profile that is replicated on hundreds of others through SL is the same as having a blank profile. It's boring and tells the reader nothing at all about you apart from....You're a sheep!

I have lost count of the amount of times I've opened a profile and saw this......

Okay! Let's just stop for a moment and look at the "bunny". *Sighs* Well in my opinion if that's a bunny it's been run over by a massive truck.....a few times! It looks nothing like a damn bunny people!

Then there is the fact that this bunny is not going to take over SL!

That's right I said it, the bunny WILL NOT TAKE OVER!

The only thing this bunny has achieved is to help people that are lazy and uncreative fill a space on their profile.

So to all the people that let this very poor attempt of a bunny lookalike live within your profile then SHAME ON YOU! *Smh*

Some profiles deliver humor sarcastically and offend people that feel like the comments are directed at them. If you relate to some of them, this might simply piss you off unless you have a good sense of humor. These are some of the profiles I came across inworld.

Note before you proceed. Just because I SLayed what these 5 citizens of SL have written on their profiles doesn't necessarily mean I agree with them... [smirks] much.

"Are you flashy? furry? bling alot? ruth? lol Be you! It's fun! Let freedom bling(ring). Looking on the 'bright' side of things. Whoa that facelight is bright! Haha no need for holiday lights this year!"

"IMPORTANT: apparently viewers log conversations, and i can't be bothered to lift a finger and turn this off.
*I love standing around in large groups, staring at each other without saying a word, its fun.
*Facelights make you 45% more awesome, specially with 5 or more of those around. Add some bling, do it. it's what the cool kids do.

Ah! Friend's List, we all have one. The only problem with it, is that it is used by people that friend us simply to Mass TP (Teleport) us. They never take the time before hand to ask a "friend" if he/she is interested in partying or willing to sit on a lucky chair or to click on an MM board. If I didn't accept it the first time, why do you insist on sending another within the hour?

Here are some warnings posted on some profiles, this goes without saying that we shouldn't have to tell you that the majority of us do not like Mass TPs.

"*Unsolicited TP offers are CANC'd."

"**NOTE: Unsolicited teleports are unwelcome, and will be ignored ."

" >>>>>>>PLEASE NO FORCED TP'S <<<<<<"

"PLEASE NO MASS TP'S....IM me before you send me a tp...."

Personally, if I wanted to be TPed anywhere in blind randomness I might post this on my profile. "Please don't worry that I might be in the middle of something important. Please DO send me a Mass TP, without asking me if I would like to join you, of course I have nothing better to do than wait for you to summon me. Please do not hesitate to use me to boost your traffic and popularity."

Here is an example of why Mass TPs can be inappropriate.

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding. The bride was nervous. Totally understandable. Right? The bride was asked. "repeat after me...."

When poof! The blushing bride suddenly disapeared. No! Seriously! She vanished! Aw-k-ward...I know. [Rolls eyes].

My first thought? "The TPaway (Runaway) Bride"!

"Where did you go?", I immediately asked her via IM.

She replied, "Oh MY GOD! Emm! I got a mass TP. I clicked it by mistake. Please TP me back!"

Yes! While doing my SL style bridemaid's duty, TPing the bride to her own wedding, I nearly died laughing.

If you can't understand how untimely and rude Mass TP's can be then I have no choice but to TP you with my stake in hand and start SLaying you viciously.

Here's an idea! Why not try this before hand, IM your "friend" before sending Mass Tps and it might not result in dissolved friendships.

Not everyone on SL is looking for a relationship. [gasps] I know. What a shocker. Too bad for many girls that develop a crush on my best bud Scotty Femto. He's an awesome DJ, and all around fun guy. He can be lame and drive me insane to the point I want to rip his throat out and force feed it to him, but I would only do it if I could find a way that it would be painless.

He gets hit on a lot and he is straight forward, letting everyone know he's not interested or looking for a relationship, but that doesn't stop the girls from tping out of the clubs furious that he didn't fall for the batting eyelashes flirtation game.

Ever popped open a profile and see the words "I can not be duplicated" ?

I have seen it on many profiles since I started SL. Funny thing is that many try their best to copy every detail. They have tried to copy clothes, hair styles and [OMG!] even the height of a particular person I know.

Yeah! Yeah! This might sound petty, a topic a 13 year old might gossip about with her BFF in the junior high school bathroom, but my point is that most SL residents forget themselves and try to become clones of other people. .

I was inspired by her words, "I talk fluent sarcasm, if you don't "understand" that, no translator is helping you." and I take it upon myself to SLay the profile of someone that truly can not be duplicated by any means, my best friend princess shuffle.

For example. There is someone, that always wore MM board freebies. Don't get it twisted, I'm not putting down freebies. I'm just painting a picture of who the girl was before her very noticeable transformation. One day she shows up with new skin tone, her blond hair now black and up in a bun, dark glasses, and with an outfit that was similar but not quite the look she was edging for. Sorry but it was like watching princess's mirror image in a train wreck.

Her attempts were an epic fail.

Unfortunately, to pull off the entire look you would have to recreate your attitude and develop sarcastic dark humor which is the core to who SLayer princess shuffle really is.

Seriously, check yourself, and just be you!

For me nothing beats a profile that's dripping in humor. Aprofile that actually says the creator took time too think about what they were putting there for the whole population of SL too see.

Here is an fine example...

You read this and find you're self totally agreeing with everything. It makes you think of things you have never thought of before.

I'd say the turtle is homeless and why doesn't the freezer have a light too?!

This SLaying goes out too all the people that take time and put effort into that little space that can tell the rest of SL just a small part of your personality.

Beware of Creepy Profile Stalkers!

This SLaying is not about the guy [he is not important at all, just an example] this SLaying is about the teleport access when someone can use your profile to get to your home, uninvited!!!!

What do I mean by this?

As a profile SLayer I have developed fans. Ha! Don't fool! Don't laugh. This story is real. I had a Creepy Stalker Guy teleport to my house the other night, and no he's never been invited to my home, EVER!

I argued with a guy that I believed was a nice person. Until he stepped out of the "nice" person zone and into the "creepy" zone. The reason for our argument is irrelevant so I wont get into it. I removed this guy from my friends list then had to mute him, due to him sending me over a dozen friend requests that I declined.

I thought it was over, and I headed home for a nice quiet evening. Suddenly, Creepy Stalker Guy appeared on my radar. My skybox is a "No Fly Zone" so this guy literally, flew up from my neighbors parcel then jumped on to my house. Not once but twice. I ejected him the first time. For the first time in ages I had to turn on my security orb, and had him ejected and banned after he returned for a second time.

Turns out Creepy Stalker Guy used the Teleport Location on my profile to get to my home. Be very careful when you set a dedication on your picks. The location you set is an absent minded invitation for creepy stalkers to Teleport to your home if the location of a picture was set while you were at home.

Of course, since then, I have reset my picks Locations to forward all teleports to a different location other than my home. So thats it guys, be sure to recheck your profiles and teleports in picks. Make sure they are not set to a place you don't want others to visit.

Yes! Even SLayers make mistakes. In my defense, it's easy to make a mistake when you don't expect Creepy Stalkers to use your profile to...uhm...stalk you.

Nothing makes me happier than to open a profile and to see a bit of originality. It makes me smile, makes me want to IM the creator and congratulate them.

Today I opened a profile and instead of finding the normal "My name is Blah Blah, My age is Ugh" I found this.......

I started to read and it made me want to finish it ,thats not always the case. I can open a profile and know if im going to close it again by the first line.

These might seem like simple actions but they can make or break a relationship. On SL you might need to pay extra close attention to not miss if a hug is needed or if it is a kiss she wants. You don't have to tell her you love her if you express it in your actions, but as an added extra, say the words and you can't go wrong.

Okay! So this week I need your help. I seem to have been offline when a mass DJ Contest took place and SL's Best DJ was announced. Yes! Before you say that DJ Battles are always taking place in SL, this is not what im talking about. I'm talking about the day every DJ in SL took part and about 500 DJ's came in joint 1st place.

What's that I hear you ask? No such contest exists? Really? Are you sure? Well WoW!

Then why do I keep finding this on profiles over and over while hunting for my next SLay Victim? ...

Really? Says who? You? Your fan group that consists of a 100 pixel people [if you are lucky]? On the grand scale of things, 100 pixel asses shaking to your tunes out of the whole of SL is not alot! That's a very small pond of people you are playing to. Yes! Some are better than others, and some more popular.

Now, I have no doubt you are very skilled at your talent. I'm sure pressing a button on your laptop to change a song and checking your IM box all at once is excruciating work [Grins].

This said...YOU ARE not the best! Yes! YOU! [Points] and you never will be until such a contest takes place, so unless you have a trophy to prove your greatness at this, oh, so very talented skill...keep to the facts...You are good, popular, and you know your music!

It's not everyday that The SLayer's get stumped. A very cool profile was bought to my attention recently. After the resident saw that he fell into one of our pre-SLayed (not so original) categories, he re-did his entire profile. So I had to SLay it, but I didn't know how to approach it without taking away from the clever and originality of the author's order and careful strategy.

SL isn't safe from April Fool's Day pranks folks...Here is one that has spread from IM to IM like a wild Cali fire, causing group rants. I had to share this with you guys and I hope you didn't fall for it.

C O: Due to a recent string of IP(intellectual Property) infringements, Linden Labs today announced they are banning ALL accounts under thirty days, pending an investigation. this goes into effect immediately, and will last indefinitely. "We're tired of all these noobs coming in, and stealing crap" said Philip Linden in an exclusive interview. As a SLayer I read hundreds of profiles in a week. Most are blank or state the obvious like, "Hi my name is...." Blah Blah Blah. Normally when I find a profile like this I instantly close it,why bother reading on when the first line was so stupid??

Today I opened a profile, I read the first line and thought "uh oh here we go again" I very nearly closed it as soon as I saw "Fact 1" Then "Fact 2" caught my eye.......

"1. Your reading my Profile.
2. Now your saying/thinking thats a stupid fact.
4. You didnt notice that i skipped 3.
5. Your checking it now.
6.Your smiling.
7.Your still reading my Profile.
8 You know all you have read is true.
10 HA! missed 9 :p"

I totally agreed with him on Fact 2, I got to Fact 3 that is actually Fact 4 and realized I was doing Fact 6. Fact 7 is another obvious statement but as Fact 8 states a very true one. Confused yet? *Giggles*

So the moral of my SLaying this week is, sometimes the opening line may seem boring and a dumb thing to say but if you read between the lines it may just make you smile. The same with people in or out of SL. The top layer may not seem like much but dig a little further and you may find a witty and interesting person.

Finding a profile that makes you giggle is like gold dust, but today not only did I find that I became friends with the author of this profile.

Did a mere mortal teach a lesson too a SLayer?? *Huffs* As much as it pains me to admit it....Yes he did! He taught me to take more notice of the damn numbers at the side of Facts *Giggles*

No SLaying should shed the same DNA. A profile is like the words to your soul. Your pain is unique. Well, isn't it? Then why do you along with most of SL residents search to find the exact same quotes to express your individual hurt? You are just dragging us into a profiled whirl of Dejavu.

"Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option"

... Ughs...I read this too many times...

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."

...yawns...

"Don t worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future".

...copy/paste overload...

It's great to use familiar quotes, no crime in that. What I am saying is that all of the above are highly over used on SL profiles.

So you are a victim, aren't we all? Are you frightened to use your own words to express the way you truly feel? When things happen, you may be tempted to cut and paste a quote that you have seen on someone else's profile, unfortunately it doesn't always lead you down an individual path.

Word to the "wronged", step away from the cookie cutter trendy quotes and stop lacking a distinctive personality. Seriously, does it really take a SLayer to thrust a stake through your profile's heart to remind you to get your own style?

I love nothing more than to open a profile and it makes me smile, giggle and nod in agreement. It's not often you find a profile that gets the user's point across while keeping it light hearted and funny. I don't SLay people's picks but I just feel I had to share this profile with everyone. So here we go....I open the profile and read this....

I relate to the "Shortly" comment I'm also "normal" sized yet my nickname is "Tiny Trouble" but that's a different story *Giggles* I also agree with complete words, I can also shorten words sometimes like "u" "ofc" and so on, but I do have a friend that makes me read things twice as he makes up his own abbreviations. After reading this I had to look at the picks, the humor intrigued me. This is what I found...

Sometimes you open a profile and think, "WOW! I could have written that!"

Reading this profile was like reading my own mind. Many women feel like this in SL but I know very few that would put into words so beautifully and publicly on their profile. The owner of this profile is gutsy, not afraid to speak her mind and straight to the point.

I'm sure 90% of the male SL population hate her for this verse and I'm sure a lot of the female population envy her out spoken brutal honesty about the fact that,"Hey sexy" just don't cut it.

I personally respect, understand, admire and totally LOVE this profile. Also the fact that guys open this profile and feel that sting of "Shit I wont IM her after all". Knowing they were about to use one of those lame pick up lines is a added bonus. I'd love too be a fly on this lady's IM wall when she gets one of these said men" try it. *Grins*

☆ Mighty Morphed Up Avatars ☆

What scares me more than prim babies and creeps me out more than child avatars?
Freakish pictures of models with massive implants and morphed SL pixel faces.

I think most of you will agree with me that a cartoon face on a real life body looks odd. What about all the lindens you put into your avatar to make it look good? All your progress and perfection isn't good enough to post a picture of your actual avatar?

Instead you put up a picture of someone that looks nothing like your avatar by the time the morphing is complete.

After discussing this with my friend, she had some good points that I agreed with.

FriskyKitty Lykin, "You know when those morphed pics first started at least it still looked mostly like an avi. Just like the hair and hands looked more real. People get carried away, avis should look like avis".

If you really want to make your avatar realistic, here's an idea why not morph your rl pic with your avatar's face? Hmm..that's right it might not have the same outcome as it would with a professional model.

I just wonder how many lawsuits might be pending with these copyright photos from the real artist. The photographer and models with the proper skills to produce such amazing shots. How would they feel about their hard work being tweaked into a haunting cartoon joke?

Sorry Mighty Morphed Up Avatars, the time for me to SLay your profile pic has come. OK bend over this won't hurt a bit, after all, isn't it someone else's body I'll be SLaying deeply?

Lets face it! In SL, we are always going to have the "Jerks". The people that drip in drama, love to offend people and get off on hurting others. We can't do anything about this it's one of the downsides to SL. This said, let me tell you a secret.

We all own a weapon of mass destruction, one that haters, drama whores and down right rude people get confused by when used. Not many people know this secret but I found this quote on a profile that shows some people do know.

"Disarm with a smile."

Yes thats right, a smile! Haters never know what to do if you just...smile. It's easy to use, free and a satisfying result is guaranteed, especially while someone stops mid rant to say "why are you smiling at me?" The best revenge is living well!

This technique takes patience and practice cause the urge to rant back and bitch someone down till you win is always there. The urge will sometimes get the better of you but never forget to smile. It lets people know that you have better things to do than worry about the drama and hate seeping through every pore of their skin.

Never ever forget that drama whores are sly attention seekers and love the reaction they get, so why give it to them?

If that fails I know a good place to bury bodies *Grins*

I would imagine that taking the life you share with someone in this three dimensional social network, and transitioning it into your RL, has to be one of the most scariest decisions one would ever have to make on SL. This, considering 8 in 10 SL relationships don't last more than a few weeks, days even.

More and more SL couples are crossing the line and becoming involved in RL, sharing a home, getting married and even having children. Meeting the person that changes your world for the better. Much like you would select that person in RL. You spend hours together, talking, laughing, exploring, and getting to know each other first hand, and trusting in them enough to accept a teleport to RL.

Maybe that is part of the blissfulness that many of these couples experience. The romance and thrill of the unknown. Here are some words from profiles of couples that have taken their SL relationships to the extreme level and are seemingly happy with their decision.

We all have things in SL that bug us. Many won't admit to them for fear of offending others. There are a few reasons for wanting to grab a person by the shoulders and give them a good enough shaking that they crash while I'm yelling at them"Why?! Why?!" .

While SLaying I found a profile that took all the things that bug her to extreme levels.....

"1. If you have a tail stuck up your ass, don't fucking IM me.
2. If you have wings...don't fucking bother
3. If you have a creepy fucking AO smile....don't fucking bother.
5. If your av can't be recognized as a human being....don't fucking bother.
6. If you're an officer in any fucking club in sl...don't fucking bother unless your name begins with a T, X or V..
7. If the first words on the first page of your profile say, "I don't bite..." DON'T FUCKING BOTHER!!!!
8. If you have in your profile the dumb ass statement that 'RL is Rl'SL is SL' don't fucking bother
9. If your profile says you're a sub... but not stupid...I'm just going to assume you're fucking stupid...because if you're so fucking stupid that you have to tell everyone you're not stupid....then don't fucking bother!
10. If in rl you would have to lose 50 lbs to be considered obese...don't fucking bother!
11. If your profile contains the stupid 'upside down' text which I'd have to stand on my head to decipher,then don't fucking bother!"

Really?

We all have things we hate, but...seriously?! Do we agree that her pet peeves are a bit over the top?

If you are a neko or have wings this person won't talk to you. I have to admit nekos in a club excessively clicking a tail and spamming is annoying, but, not all nekos do this. I will also admit that 12 foot wings smacking you in the face is too much, but I own some very cute little wings that I love!

If you smile or are not human this person wont talk to you......I'm not even going to comment or I will be here all day!

I also understand "I don't bite" is over used, but really, refusing too even talk to someone for that reason?

I could go on all day about why this profile quote is wrong in so many ways but I'm sure you readers can see for yourself how ridiculous it all is. My advice if you come across this profile "Don't fucking bother" trying to talk to this resident!

Little Light Of Mine...Let It Shine

Some SL residents help us to navigate in the dark with an artificial aura known as the infamous Facelight. If these people were fireflies, the light would be useful to attract mates. Too bad the response isn't always answered with a series of positive flashing lights.

While at a Live show the other day, I noticed this girl...and her, "This little light of mine" attitude. She was my inspiration for this SLaying. To her and all the glow-in-the-dark avatars you all get my sentiments as I SLay you.

Tip: There are softer facelights, good for photographs and to light just YOU and not everyone else around you.

Here are some of the comments I found on profiles of people that have major issues with Facelights.

"Turn your facelight off! It doesn't make you less ugly, on the contrary."

"really?....do you need a facelight that's just shy of gamma radiation?"

"TYFFO ? Turn Your Fucking Facelights Off--- and while you're at it - BLING as well."

Here are some profile comments that do not suppress their deep seeded hatred for facelights.

"Hate the RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, ANNOYING, pests and thier facelights! What gives them the right to SHINE that BRIGHT ass LIGHT right in your face?! Let them know your SICK of them and to TAKE IT OR TURN IT OFF!!!!! You shouldn't have to move becaus someone else wants to shine a light!"

"I mean seriously! What would you do if someone sat there with a flashlight shining in your face?"

"Things I don't like - talking genitalia, facelights that light up half the sim and cheap rip-offs of talented designers."

I can go on and on with all the facelight bashings that I have collected but I'll leave you with these final critical words one SL resident wants to warn us all about.

I was indecisive of this SLaying the first time I came across this quote and weeks later, there it was again. I actually ran into this person's profile twice in 2 different locations. I guess it's meant to be SLayed.

I'll remind you not all SLayings are painful, this one happens to be one of my favorite quotes. So I will be gentle.

I don't know about you but I find myself second guessing decisions I make. I won't know until after its outcome.

Personally, when I make plans the unexpected is always lurking, the future is unpredictable, and what I decide might be challenged by my worst critic, Me!

I don't get married to my decisions. Flexibility is important. I am capable of adapting to change. Still, before I make that final conclusion I would have toyed with all of my options. Probably, driving all my friends crazy before I resolve my dilemma.

Sometimes you open a profile and what you read makes you think..."I don't want to talk to this person". Some people come across aggressive. There is a difference between dark humor and down right rudeness. Let me give you some examples.....

"always looking to make knew friends long as you ain't a fucktard."

Does the fact this person wants "knew" friends not make him a fucktard? If you insist on writing such things maybe you should use spell check to prevent yourself from looking like a dumb ass!

"One last thing....I'm not here to make friends"

Then why come to SL? Is meeting new people and making friends from around the globe not the point? This person's picture was full of the people she loves in SL *Hmm* Wonder how they made it there?

Uhmm...I understand if this person has trouble with other languages, but "not good at talking"? That qualifies as a ✖ FAIL ✖ in a game that relies on communication.

✖ FAIL ✖ Seriously? 45? Playing the role of an 11 year old? There is something really wrong when a grown man feels the need to relive a lost childhood. Actually it is disturbing.

The third profile is of a guy that posted a picture of Brad Pitt, as his RL picture. Another ✖ FAIL ✖ ! Sure, it's possible it could be a joke, but the rest of his profile didn't appear to give any indication that he has a sense of humor.

This week I aim my Stake at all the profiles that make no sense, because if you ✖ FAIL ✖ you should have no mercy in this painful SLaying.

Not often do you find genuine people in SL. People that will be straight up honest with you. Someone that doesn't stop caring just cause they logged out of SL. Genuine friends that tell you how it is even if you don't want to hear it are hard to come by. Ones that are there through the good and the bad times.

A lot of the times the genuine people are exploited, used, lied to and end up getting hurt. A negative to having a caring nature. So many people have profiles "claiming" to be compassionate and real. Let me give you a example.....

"My biggest imperfection is that I can be very compassionate. I support those that I care about to the fullest. The merciless usually exploit this flaw. But I must advise them. DO NOT mistake me for a gullible church mouse."

As the author of this states, having balance is essential if you're a compassionate person. You need a third sense for bullshitters and liars.

How do you know if the person claiming to be genuine really is? You don't. You just have to let them in and hope for the best. If they state on their profile they are so caring does that mean they are lying?

The answer is, No!

How do I know this? I know cause the author of this example is a fellow SLayerBabe and my best friend Emm Sands. Yes admittedly she is feisty and strong willed with a hint of bish, but she is also the most compassionate caring loyal person you could ever meet.

So when you're ready to give up on SL because of all the liars and two faced back stabbing people (lets face it we have all been there) just remember it is possible that SL has genuinely real people. You just have to search hard for them.

This weeks SLaying is going out to all the genuine honest people out there but most of all to my best friend!

About SL profiles some say, in RL we don't run around with giant signs over our heads letting people know highlighted things about our lives. This is true.

So this morning I was inspired to SLay a profile that I came across. The sl resident, let's us know that her profile is not blank, and you should get to know her without a description of herself on her profile.

"this profile isn't empty
i'm just not running around with a sign held up telling you who i am if you want to know more, use ur brain and show a bit effort and i might tell you a few things" ~ SL resident.

In fact by not trying to make it easy for others she actually gave us an insight to her character. To me she sounds like someone interesting and worth getting to know. I wouldn't have been inspired to slay her if she had left her profile completely blank. So actually by telling me she's not going to tell me anything, she did catch my attention.

If you are familiar with the popular social networking sites you are aware that people like to know a bit about others and browse through profiles. I believe SL profiles are no different. It is a platform that is used to focus on building an idea into who you are and what you like.

Your profile is not a tool to be hated plus it would suck for The SLayers if all profiles suddenly went completely blank! I might admit that I do see an upside to that, it would show us how nervous we make you. Wahahahhahaha...

When I first opened this profile and I got half way through this quote I admit I was a little, "Ummm" *Scatches Head* I got to the end and laughed. Look deeper into this quote and its so true.

People in SL worry too much, they let the drama and the haters get too them. Like the writer of this quote points out to every downside there is a upside. SL is exactly the same!

You get people who just come to SL to cause drama and spread hate, cheat and lie. Why? I don't know why but I figure they must have a very sad RL. There is the downside to SL but the upside? You can make genuine friendships they go beyond SL. I know this because I'm lucky enough to have formed some. This is rare and I'm blessed to have met these people.

SL is a escape from RL it should be fun, happy, light and full of laughter. So if you find the bad people of SL want to bring you down with their lies and poison I have two very easy steps you can follow to be rid of them....

Dont worry and let them bring you down, take a stand, own that mute button and become friends with it. It will be the best tool you ever own in SL!

Disclaimers as seen on many profiles, have helped us to sort out the fun avatars from the down right unapproachable avatars.

I'm sure you are all aware of the TOS, Terms of service, rules by which one must agree to abide by in order to use a service. Unless in violation of consumer protection laws.

Many on SL save the conversations they have and use them to their advantage. They post the chat on notecards and share them with others notifying on their profiles that this is their right. This is against the TOS, but disclaimers announcing to others a warning about logging IMs has become the norm.

Here are some funny TOS and disclaimer overrides that I have found on the profiles of SL residents.

"By logging into SL, you agree that this disclaimer nullifies all disclaimers in all other profiles and overrides all the TOS, not just the pesky bit about IM sharing. You accept I may grief you, steal your spouse and eat your firstborn."

"If you say it, I may quote it. Just sayin'"

"You know that whole copy and paste thing? Don't do it with my shit."

Those were pretty funny, but there are some disclaimers on some profiles that make people appear highly, unapproachable. I wouldn't even attempt to start a conversation with these people. The next 2 Disclaimers that follow are perfect examples.

"I don't take bullshit from people so keep your drama to yourself. All of my CONVERSATIONS are logged to protect myself. This serves as your NOTICE and acceptance that I can and will share with others local chat as well as instant messages if you speak to me unless otherwise requested."

Eeeek! Scary stuff [laughs].

"Here's your warning.
I log all IM's and LOCAL chat as well.
And when LL Brings out a way to 'Log' Voice Chat, I'll be doin' that as well.
I WILL use these to my discretion.
To send to LL, to copy or paste to a friend for sheer amusement & poking fun at you for being an idiot.

Wouldn't you just love for me to give you a clue to who this person is just so you can send random IMs to keep her busy [smirks].

There are some conversations too funny that they are impossible to NOT share them. I admit I have used notecard logs in the past but found that they are irrelevant, useless in any and all situations.

I really have no use for saving IMs. Word to the clueless: Notecards can be edited, and changed to the advantage of the person providing and sharing it. So with this SLay I Slaughter the people that think their logs are the ultimate proof. Remember logs are not written on stone.

After spending a couple of years in SL, you start to sort through the BS, even if you get sucked into someone's theatricals it gets easier with time to find the ability to dust yourself off, and get over it.

It is good to step back and renew your views of this world. I have drawn my own conclusions, there are many reasons why I could have left this place long ago. Yet the reasons to stay overthrow those. There is so much that I have yet to see. This place is constantly changing. There are many creative minds inworld, building and designing interesting objects.

You can always turn to your friends for good laughs. Meeting new and interesting people is a plus. Too bad some make spectacles of themselves. Good Idea: Those are the ones you should remove from your contacts.

Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian, declared today National Unfriend Day. According to him if you have too many friends on Facebook keeping up with all of them on the daily can be stressful. I believe the same happens on SL. This popularity contest just can't be healthy. Sometimes More friends = More drama. It's not possible to keep up with everyone daily, but in RL do you call every single one of your friends and family members every single day?

Personally, for me, having a handful of friends I talk to daily and friends that I speak to on random occasions feels just right. But if any of them get out of hand, there's nothing a good jab in the eye with a broken off pencil can't fix, right?

What caused this? How did a profile make me go "Aww" without gagging? Well here is the story.
I don't normally SLay friend's profiles I like the going out and hunting for people I dont know it's a challenge but I decided to read through my friends list see what I could find. I came across this on a friend's profile...

When you think of The SLayers what is the first thing that comes to mind?

Halloween may be days away but someone is going to get a haunted SLaying! This corpse sort of landed at my feet when he started chatting away in a Jazz group.

He said, " just i been to loads of places and keep being rejected seems no one want to dance with me...might be better to leave sl for good."

Of course, I got curious, and this spooky unavoidable SLaying began. I set out to find why he was having trouble with the ladies. Usually there are wallflowers at ballrooms just waiting to be enchanted by a guy and asked to dance. I wondered why he was rejected time and again. What was this guy's weak point?

Was his profile a Trick or Treat?

As I uncovered his profile, it was clear he wasn't either of the two. He didn't have anything to act on. All he had written on it was "Hello ladies".

Hey! Goons here's an incite, the ladies do check profiles when a guy on SL approaches. So be ready for it. Even if she is not looking for a relationship she will be curious.

My advise to this guy is, to say something interesting, funny or dorky on his profile. The right words can spark up a conversation. You might be surprised, a lady might even IM you first.

When you talk to her, be casual, your appearance, your attitude and conversational skills should be relaxed, and unforced. Pay attention to the things she says. Don't come across pushy. If your conversation flows, ask her to dance, most likely, if she has laughed with you, she will accept your offer.

Tonight I SLay the guys, that come across as brutal goblins or Lame zombies. Just trust that you will be dancing The Monster Mash alone until you get it right. Get in the spirit, give the "Ladies" a reason to accept your dance offer.

I'v been SLaying for over 2 hours today and I must have read at least 200 profiles now im tired, my head hurts and I'm ready to pass out. Above all else I'm kinda pissed off. Why? Cause I must have found the most boring 200 profiles in SL.

Now I dont expect people too make my job easy for me but when I open a profile I expect to get an insight into how that person portrays themselves. Hobbies, Likes, Dislikes, or What they expect from SL.
I dont want too see:

"Hi my name is Blah Blah" I know you're name I just clicked on you! Or "IM me I love too chat" Really? This is why you have a blank profile huh? Alot don't even have a profile pic.

At first, I think maybe these people don't log in anymore. Wrong again! A lot of them are online. Your profile should give other users just a slight hint of who you are. Personally, I will IM a person after reading a good profile. I have made many friends this way. I would not IM anyone that says any of the above. So my SLaying this week goes out too all you unimaginative people that have boring profiles. From what I'v seen this consists over half of SL users.*Huffs*

Kudos to the owner of that profile. The Caution is a perfect slogan for Secondlife and should be printed on a T-shirt. Surely, it's clear this person has had to deal with other residents that live by the law of *SL's 7 Deadly Sins. The author got me thinking. [It's dangerous when I am encouraged to think without supervision]. What makes returning to SL worth it? It's simple. We have build bridges here. We have made lasting relationships with people we care about.

True, there are bad seeds that are sprouted around the grid causing havoc and pain, it can be toxic. These people want to shake us, one thing is definite, don't regret the connections you have made. Good or bad, they are the bookmarks to your Second Life. Haven't we all had to deal with someone's tantrums? Only the strongest can over come it and not let it change who we are and why we came to SL.

Clearly we need an assortment of personalities in this world. But, if you never learn from the malice sufferings you have encountered and you only generate hate as you move forward with your SL, brace yourself, you have just been SLayed.

I love nothing more than going out too SLay and finding an original profile. Too many are duplicated with over used quotes and one liners. Just as many are left blank, empty and lifeless. I came across this profile on one of my SLayings......

The rest of the profile was blank....nothing...not even a profile picture! So I'm thinking to myself "Hmm... Yeah! Very original" 20 minutes later I open another profile and see this......

Another so original profile.....Not! This one did have the added extra of a profile picture!

Upon seeing this second one I thought "Okay! Now you're asking for a SLaying!"

We all like too think our profile is original after all it's a slight insight into who we are. Yet these users managed too be as original as the profiles of hundreds of noobs that rez into this crazy world on a daily basis. I thought maybe the code's on each original claim was maybe at least unique. Another FAIL as I find the second offenders trademarked piece of originality duplicated on more profiles.

The one with the profile picture could have pulled this off if she had a totally original picture or avatar but yet again FAIL! Myself along with half the female population of SL have those Bax Boots,that Truth hair, had a picture done in "That" pose. If I took away the words "Originality" or "Original" from you, how would you prove that you are different?

So the moral of this week's SLaying is.....

If you're going too claim too be so original with a bar code that screams "Look at me Look at me" be sure it has actual original details, because there may just be a SLayer somewhere too prove you wrong.

During one of my hunts, I found the words to a song that will never be allowed to retire, due to current and future generations of Bitch that will re-surface the tired lyrics.

Yes! Girl this is your theme song. Yours and 99.9% of the female population. Every one of us tells of our sweet side, then we lash out with a warning that we are bitches.

Our Profile SLayers Blog was birthed through our Bitch Connection. First, we wanted to exploit and tell all the funny gossips we knew, but then we thought it was way too bitchy even for us. Too many people would be offended and we aren't about hurting people [much].

Our humor is what drives us, but that can get messy. Not too many people get the SLayer Babes humor. Sometimes only we get it. That doesn't stop us, we thrive and move forward.

I understand the sentiment, and because I sang this song at the top on my lungs many times, it's left me with a blank closing to this SLaying. It's simply just...[insert bitchy SLayer comment here]

Okay people it's that time again, it's a Princess SLaying time. This week my SLaying is going out to all those attention seeking people that profiles always say "Leaving SL", "Left SL", "On a SL vacation".......Yet these people are always online!

In my experience the people that say they are leaving SL 10 times a week NEVER leave!

So what's the whole point of the "I'm leaving" statement? One answer...ATTENTION! They want everyone too gather round and shed the cyber tears and beg the "leaver" to stay. So, some advice too all about to start begging "the leaving every other day avis of SL, too stay", save your breath and typing power because these people never leave and love the attention.

So to all the people out there right now whos profiles claim you have "left game" but are still online you have just been SLayed. No doubt another reason too leave huh? Its all a vendeta against you mwaaahaha!

My slaying starts out as just another typical day...going from place to place trying to find something to inspire my quill. After quite a few random places, I ended up at a very popular place in SL. Great 80's tunes playing, everyone dancing and having a great time. I started to think about what got me on to SL and the many friends that have come and gone in my stay. I looked at a profile and it read...

"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it's the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when they discover that someone else believes in them.. "

This is so true. I have been fortunate enough to have the same friends set for over a year. We have fun, we laugh, we cry, but above all else we believe in each other. We have been through many endeavors together, clubs, shops and now the blog and through it all I know that we are better together.

So this week, I dedicate this SLaying to my friends. My friends that have stuck with me, the ones that have laughed with me, cried with me and even laughed at me. *lol* Without you, SL would not be worth coming back to. I can only hope that all the readers can say the same thing about their friends. Enjoy yourselves and each other and cherrish the time you do have to be on Second Life, before Real Life intervenes.

What's the deal with the little boxes? I wonder if profile pervs are just as confused as I am? These started spreading on profiles like 2009's "swine" flu global outbreak.

There is an excessive usage of these boxes. Used for a variety of reasons, from telling others what age group they are willing to talk to...

To identifying the languages spoken or not spoken.

The most over used boxes are the following...

But what I question is, why do some offenders use this to express that they couldn't be happier in their relationship? Yet they post something like this:

That is a hard core way to let your sweetie know that you might not be sticking around. If it's true that you are truly happy in your relationship why bother adding a "single" option box to your profile? It's abundantly clear that you are on your way out, eventually.

Hi People! This weeks SLaying is going too be a bit different. I was out SLaying when I came across this on a profile.

"Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink.

It made me stop and think, "Wow! How nice to open a profile and not see anything about drama, hate or something sassy". It was like a breath of fresh air after SLaying for hours and reading about people that are in love with themselves, hate their baby daddy , or dripped in drama sauce.

So there it is my first nice SLaying. I have a feeling not many will make my "Nice SLaying List" So if you know this is on your profile congratulations!

What is it about a blank profile?

I ventured out to find the story behind a blank profile. I did it on a dare. Yes! Dared by Princess, the Profile SLayer.

I must admit the guy I targeted made it easy for me. His name, DonJuan. Anyone with such a name falls into the legendary "womanizer" category. Yet, he was quite opposite of the common smooth player you might be familiar with in SL.

I agreed to go on a first date. His story was that he was looking for a girlfriend, because he keeps meeting girls that only want to use him for sex, they would disappear the day after. It is a curse for him to have such a sexy body [Hello, its an avatar, you are only as handsome as the lindens you put into it ]. I questioned his lack of payment history. He said his friend buys the lindens for him. He got very defensive when I said, "I heard that before". He told me to please not to compare him to my ex. I managed to convince him that I believed him and I was not insisting that he was an alt. One year on SL and he says he does not know what an alt is. [HA! Look at this guy (Try that in your best New York accent) ].

Date #2 Poor thing had no game, his passion was as bland as a bowl of sugarless oatmeal. In my defense I was undercover: The seeker of his purpose.
Our actual 2nd date conversation.
DonJuan : remember u said u didnt want to see me naked now so im not i thought about it and im never getting naked again with anybody im salibet now no more sex for me i dont want it !

DonJuan : just companionship thats it
DonJuan : im just kidding your so gulabelle i swear u believe anything
emm Sands: You think I believe everything! [in fact I believed nothing, that's why the blog, duh]

I thought this would take longer, maybe a week to expose him. I never expected that I would have him sorted out in just 2 days. After our "romantic date" he TP out of his house leaving me there. But he did give me "map rights" and I used it. This "dare" was short lived, as I sent a friend to his location at a free sex sim. My friend took a picture of him in an uncompromising position with a female avatar just a few minutes after making it clear he wanted a relationship with me. I sent him a copy of the picture and what was his explanation? He and his friends play a game to see how many "Avatar Sex Trophies" they can conquer just for fun.

This could have been another case of, Curiosity Killed The Cat. But lucky for this kitty, I was armed with knowledge and the guise to only appear gullible.

This SLaying taught me four things.
* That behind a blank profile is person with no personality, possibly focused on a daily SLex'a'thon ritual.
* It's pathetic when you think people that have been on SL so long, are still not bored with the dry-hump tango, with random pixelized partners.
* Yes! I am aware some blank profiles are how people deal when hurt by former lover or friend. An attempt to clean slate and start anew.
* Most importantly, I learned not to play Truth or Dare with another SLayer. The quests can be brutal.

Blank profile? Your SLaying has been approved by the SLayer Babes Committee of 3!

Wowzers! Another week and another slaying. I can't wait to get my hands in this one. Now I understand that not everyone is a Grammar teacher or that we all speak the same language, but when a profile has this many errors, I see that it is in desperate need of a SLaying. The following Profile statement should be tagged with this Warning Label. "Reading the following profile may cause seizures. Approach with caution".

"YES am taking by the men i all ways wanted OMG hes MY HEART and evey thing i wanted in a men ,,yes hes my DORK O lol ,, (name deleted),, he makes me smile ,, hes all ways there whan i need some one to talk to ,, now we to gether am going to love only him going to stand by him no mather what ,, am going to be a mom ,, (name deleted),,yes am geting merried ,, (personal email deleted) dont fuck with me my man or my baby ,you dell with me "

Wow, where do I begin with this? I am glad this person found her true love but maybe she should have found old Mr. Webster instead. I sure don't want to "Dell" with her [chuckles] especially since I have an HP comp.

Remember, keep writing those profiles but just make sure you use Spell Check before you click the "OK" button. Note, that posting comments like, "minus well kiss my ass" when what you really mean is, "might as well kiss my ass" you are just asking for an Epic SLaying.

Yes! It's that time again. Someone's about too get a Royal SLaying! Okay so im out looking for victims and come across this:

Now first I laughed. Then I asked myself, "is she really advertising for a man on her profile"? Then I think umm self respect? Now I agree SL relationships can be great whether it stays in SL or goes further, but really turning you're profile into some kind of "lonely hearts", it's taking it a bit far. Are you really that desperate for a pixel man? Women please this may be a "Game" but have just a bit of self respect. This girl made herself sound desperate, needy, and like someone who "needs" a man. It's enough too turn any guy off. So this week's lesson is, be sassy. Put it out there that you are single and up for a relationship and fun.

Anyone with a "boyfriend wishlist" on your profile, all you are getting is a SLaying for making yourself a target to guys that are searching for a doormat like you. Remember "Miss Desperate" just isn't a good look!

I'm sure you have seen it too. The suspense is supposed to make the reader click on the profile's 1st life tab, drooling as the picture rezzes. Unfortunately, many offenders thought of this very same "neat" idea.

The 1st life photo rezzes and there it is. A picture of the word "ME" and a shower background. This month alone I have seen this picture half a dozen times. Unfortunately, I'm destined to see it again.

Someday, someone might actually post a picture of themselves naked in the shower, until then...I will be doing some Psycho Style SLayings through the shower curtain of these unsuspecting victims.

You are if you claim you are a gangster or as most say in SL gangsta!

Yes, you can be whatever you want in SL, but I mean the people claiming too be "gangsta" in RL. So you smoke dope that does not make you a gangster. I know someone that claims too be all gangster RL. Yes he uses all the street lingo and talks all ghetto-like. All this tells me is that he watches too many movies and listens too Snoop Dogg way too much.

Just a word of warning to those that are new to this virtual world. If you see someone with "Tired of the Drama" or "Leave the drama for your momma" then nine times out of ten, they are the ones that seem to be the magnets. I, through my 2 years on here have seen this on many occasions and had usually shrugged it off. I have now come to realize after certain encounters with such stated people, that when it comes to drama, they are the ones who bring it on themselves.

I have to agree with this one profile that I came across during one of my SLay Hunts, She stated it best!

"If you say no Drama.. Best get off your Drama Llama and realize it's you causing it!"

So if you see a profile with the words "drama" on it, you may want to steer clear unless drama is what you are after and if I see a profile that says it.....consider it slayed!!

Relationships are expendable on SL, you meet the love of your life, until he/she meets the love of their life. This will never change, booty calls are always just one IM away.

What if you meet the love of your life, are you supposed to let them pass you by?

I say enjoy the moment. Don't let them get the best of you. Don't give away too much of yourself. Trust that little voice that warns you to doubt but laugh, dance and party. When your " love" is ready to move on, he/she will move on. No exceptions.

As I wander through this virtual world, I have seen a lot of different things on the profiles, but one took the cake for my 1st SLaying. It is one thing to profess your undying love and devotion to your mate, but it is a completely different thing to ask no.....wrong word....practically beg your Prim baby daddy to come back. This is what I found...

"i love u baby even tho things seems bad there not and u know i want to stay in your life . we r going to have a baby soon and she wants u in her life too. we both miss u when your not on game. when things get better for us i want to b with u again as a partner..."

Now, correct me if I'm wrong. (and that is just a figure of speech) There is no financial obligation for a man on Second Life to take him to court for child support. The Prim Baby would not actually have his DNA or blood, right? So how can you use a prim baby to try to entice your man back? If he don't love you and don't wanna be with you, then he ain't coming back for a pixel baby. Anyway, don't worry, from what I understand you can always just keep the baby in your inventory until you find the next Prim baby daddy and then use it on him.

So all Second lifer's out there continue to profess those feeling in your profiles and tell the virtual world your unbridled love for your pixelated man or woman or neko or furry, but warning, to those of you begging your Prim Baby Daddy's back in your profile......I will Slay that one every time!

One thing that really bugs me that I see on many profiles is the "OWNED" label.

"Slaps a *OWNED* sticker on her ass" is an actual quote from someone's profile.

Now, tell me, when did being in a relationship mean that you are "OWNED"? . What happened too "happily taken" or "In a loving relationship"? Would you let someone "own" you in RL, just because you was in a relationship? Do you no longer have opinions if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? Do you change your personality and who you are too suit your "owner"? If you do then are they really in love with you, with the person you truly are?

So, to all the people out there that have an "OWNED" sticker on your ass, get some self respect you are not someone's plaything or property. You are a person with feelings, opinions and your own personality. If you label yourself as "OWNED" you have just been SLayed!!

"SL & RL DON'T MIX!" Ah! [inserts a cute snort here] A familiar statement on hundreds of secondlife profiles. I laugh when I read this because there has to be a connection to some extent. Of course, the levels do vary, but the two worlds do collide.

When we join SL we have no idea what we will encounter. Even if we looked over the shoulder of a friend while they showed us all the fun and trouble they can get into with little or no consequences, we have no idea how we will be affected.

We create relationships when we least expect it. Some formed by silly, funny or emotional connections. There are those we call our "besties", and some even get adopted into families or clans. Some of the people on your friends list, might be great and fun to party with, while others have screwed you over in one way or another, but if it affected you somehow, dude, then SL crossed over the line.

If you partnered or had relationships in SL and regret or continue to flourish in bliss. Drama may erupt from these situations, but if you felt upset or frustrated then you have let SL seep into your RL.

These two following quotes come from actual Secondlife Profiles. "Keeping RL seperate from SL until I know you well enough", this might be a better profile statement than, something like: "RL<------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------>SL". Ha! Especially when your profile expresses your undying love for your partner or soulmate.

So if your profile quote says, "SL & RL Don't Mix!" you are The ɞ SLayerBabes ɞ first victim. Just Get Real! Let us know what →You← think!

We started this gossip blog in February of 2010. (we deleted our former posts hehehe..too many people would have un-friend us if we didn't delete. Kudos to our quick thinking.) We came to realize that the funniest, strangest, and cutest quotes normally come from profiles. After gathering information while doing a gossip blog we have decided too ditch the blog and start a Profile SLayers Blog. Here we will give you the best and worst of peoples profiles.

Let's face it, profiles show an incite to who you are and how you portray yourself. Most profiles list if a person is single, in a relationship or owned. We can also be dragged into a world of the unknown in these profiles as people state how they were created. Some keep their profiles simple, others have more complexed text, and even use fonts that might make your head do a 360. Messages of hate or sorrow are very common.

Song lyrics are very popular on many profiles. One of my close friend's profile let's us all know what he thinks about lyrics on profiles. It's pretty funny, so I thought I should share. This is what his profile says, "I would like to meet the first person who thought...hey let me put a song as my profile and it will start a trend in sl and go crazy......wtf were they thinking ! i dont wanna c ur ode to the Cure ,Bon Jovi, or how Miley Cyrus inspired you LOL needless to say it makes me laugh though!"

Many profiles are frequently updated while others are blank or the same comment has been there close to the time the person rezzed into this mysterious world. In the picks tab, you may find favorite places where Secondlife members like to visit, but many of these slots are reserved for top ten friends and loved ones.

As we continue our bellyful laughs, we shake our heads not believing that we are possibly the only sane ones in this virtual world.
